LESSONS LEARNED

INFORMAL THEME #2
BLOG #2

The three major values and lessons I learned from Ma’am May are the following:

a.     Friendship.
It really takes time to build trust with someone. Once you broke that trust, sometimes it will never be back again. But through some difficult measures, you could gain it again. She said that our relationship with our classmates is merely companionship. We stay together in laughing matters especially in corny jokes. We are together in going to the canteen and any other places. We are just companions but I still feel that it is friendship.

b.      Confidence and Organization
Last Girl Scout Camping was a really great experience for me. She was a highly organized person. All the thing or documents for the Girl Scouts are inside a portfolio. Even the orienteering was organized. Before the camp, many preparations were needed to make. I was assigned to stage designing. I have to work with Mrs. de Luna. My duty was to talk to many teachers and other persons involved. I was not comfortable with that for I’m usually shy. But I need to, so I learned to be more confident. One instance also is when we performed for the campfire, I need to be confident and it was successful.

c.    Decisions
When making decisions, we should really think for it and the consequences it will create. When we will have wrong decisions, there will be great consequences. I already experienced this. Lately, we backed out for joining the Science Camp. There were some consequences. But she still understood our part and forgave us. I’m really thankful to her. She truly has a good heart. This is one great lesson I learned from her. THANKS A LOT MA'AM MAY...
